Belgium vs. Russia UEFA Euro 2020 tie kicks off on Saturday, the 12th of June, time: 20:00 (GMT+1 at Krestovsky Stadium.

Michy Batshuayi (Crystal Palace), Christian Benteke (Crystal Palace), and Eden Hazard (Real Madrid) were also named in Roberto Martinez's list. He has been managing Belgium since August 3, 2016 and has an impressive record of 43W, 9D, 4L in 53 games. On Saturday, a 3—4—3 formation is expected from the 47-year-old coach.


Meanwhile, Russia will also be coming into their first Group-B Euro 2020 fixture behind a victory. The likes of Dmitri Barinov (Lokomotiv Moskva), Rifat Zhemaletdinov (Lokomotiv Moskva), and Aleksandr Golovin (Monaco) are also included in the squad list. Their best finish at the UEFA Euros has been qualifying for the semi-final stages in the 2008 edition of this tournament. On Saturday, Stanislav Cherchesov will likely adopt a conventional 4—3—3 formation when Russia makes their first appearance in this tournament.


On the 16th of November 2019, Belgium defeated Russia, 4-1. Before that fixture, Belgium had defeated Russia, 3-1 in March of the same year while an earlier fixture ended in a 3-3 draw for both countries on the 28th of March 2017.
