Euro 2020 fixture, Germany vs. Hungary is scheduled to kick off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, the 23rd of June, venue: Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany.

Germany picked up three points against Portugal on Match Day 2 when they met the Selection for their second appearance of the tournament. They had a goal canceled before Portugal put themselves in front through Cristiano Ronaldo (15’). However, they took the lead after two own goals with the first coming from Ruben Dias (35’ O.G.) while the other had the name of Raphael Guerreiro (39’ O.G.) written over it. The Germans picked up the pace,

scoring twice in ten minutes through Kai Havert (51’) and Robin Gosens (61’). But the lead would be cut down to two after Diogo Jota (67’) picked up a goal for himself. The win will see the Germans return behind a form that reads: WLDWLW. They have 3 points from the win and are left with a G.D. of +1 after 1W, 0D & 1L. An attacking 3—4—2—1 formation is expected from Joachim Low.

However, Hungary picked up a point against France last Saturday. Attila Fiola (45’) scored the first goal of the game but Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann (66') equalized for the Blues. Marco Rossi  was very happy with the point despite his side remaining at the bottom of the standings in Group F. A spirited effort for a draw would be the aim but a surprise win will add an interesting twist to the tale as regards

to a last sixteen berth. Marco Rossi’s probable 3—5—2 formation – which he deployed against France, could return on Match Day 3 as Hungary comes in behind a form that reads: WWWDLD and 1 point after 0W, 1D & 1L. Hungary’s game against Portugal and France remain under investigation by UEFA for fan disciplinary actions after anti-kneeling and other offensive banners were displayed in both games which took place at the Ferenc Puskas Stadium, Budapest, Hungary.

The last time both sides met, Germany defeated Hungary, 2-0. Before that fixture, Hungary suffered another 3-0 loss in the hands of the Germans. In June 2004, Germany picked up a 2-0 victory against Hungary.

A 3-0 victory for Germany is predicted at full-time
